Rogers Lake is located southwest of Kalispell and is one of those lakes you’d probably have to ask a local about. It is mostly surrounded be Montana State land with only 19 lots of private ownership around the eastern frontage. The other 20 or so homes and cabins are on state leased land.
Rogers Lake is only 240 acres in size and is at an elevation of almost 4,000 ft. Its fairly shallow, about 15 feet deep, so its good for fishing, kayaking and canoeing but is really too small for skiing of any kind. Species listed are Grayling and Westslope Cutthroat Trout. The lake is scenic with surrounded by wooded rolling hillsides. The public access is primitive at the north end with access about 4 miles up a county gravel road.
