Set on the banks of Swan River, as it enters Bigfork Bay, are the condominiums of Bigfork Harbor.  There are 4 sets of buildings in the complex, some overlooking the river and others the beautifully landscaped park area.  Designed for lake lovers, each condo is assigned a boat slip, so there’s no need for sharing.  You boat out into the bay, then under the Highway 35 bridge and on out into Flathead Lake in minutes.  Some of the units have garages, some carports and the rest have exterior parking spaces.  The neighborhood stays relatively quiet as there are no typical “vacation rentals” allowed.   If owners want to rent out their condo, it can only be once per year with a minimum of a 30 day rental.  This cuts down substantially the number of transient (non-owner) traffic.

Since this neighborhood sits on the Swan River, there is a great place to fish on the east side near the old bridge.  If you don’t have the time to go out in your boat, you can always catch some rays and cool off in the swimming pool by the clubhouse.
