Kellie and her sister had a great day last weekend enjoying a little Indian Summer weather on Echo Lake.
Diana (peeking behind the group), as part of the Rotary Club of Bigfork, attended the first delivery of food “backpacks” to the Bigfork Schools. Between 20-50 food packages will go home each week to children identified as having food shortages over the weekend. The 4th of July is a fun day in Bigfork, MT starting typically with some kind of Run/Walk. Then noon hits and the town literally explodes with locals and visitors ready to enjoy the famous little town parade. A videographer, Matt Ragan of Birds Eye of Big Sky, took this footage. Last Saturday Scott and Dane traveled through the National Bison Range in the Mission Valley. They spotted lots of wildlife including these two bison lounging on a Spring afternoon. The Mission Range is still snowcapped in the background even though the temperature was in the 70’s.
Diana just finished directing her 12th annual Bigfork Variety Show (Cowabunga Variety Show) in April 2014, raising $7,000 to be distributed to the Bigfork area schools and youth programs. The show is performed at the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts every Spring.
