Things to Do During the Holidays in Montana
Outdoor activities dominate December in our family. If we’re not at one of our favorite ski resorts seeking a run with Santa, we may choose to head to the backcountry for a full day of snowmobiling or cross-country skiing right out our back door… and of course a vigilant eye on the ice for upcoming ice skating!
As for the BIG dinner display on Christmas Day? One may immediately think it’s all about the ham or turkey; yet here in Montana, it’s not uncommon to switch traditions and serve a well-marbled prime rib or slow-smoked venison roast.
